Class descriptions and fees:
Pottery: $40/class + materials (A class is one meeting a week for two weeks. For example, two Saturday mornings. This allows for drying time). Each class offers students the opportunity to focus on one hand building technique, with firing and glazing of the created piece included. Clay is available for sale by weight, and we are happy to suggest weights based upon the desired piece. Additional tools are also available for purchase. Classes run 90 minutes. Register 2 weeks in advance.
Dates: Sundays @ 2, Thursdays @ 11 & 2, Saturdays @ 11
Quilting: $15/class + Materials (all sewing is completed out of class). Students pick from an assortment of quilting patterns and sizes upon registration and receive a materials list. Materials are brought to class and students are taught to cut, piece and quilt. Demonstrations are given, but due to space restraints all sewing must be completed at home. Classes run 60 minutes. Register any time.
Dates: Saturdays @1
Glass: $20/class plus materials. Each class will focus on various methods of kiln cast glass design. Upon registration students will be presented with a materials worksheet for the weekly class project, but alternate projects are available - please talk with the instructor about what you would like to create. Classes run 90 minutes. Register two weeks in advance for specialized classes, open registration for students learning the selected project.

Skin care/Color analysis: $10/class + Products available for purchase. (Combined class. Skin care demos are free). Students are introduced to a line of skin care products and cosmetics, then receive a color analysis and suggestions. Interested students may learn to do color analysis for others as well. This class is held before our weekly Girl’s Night and is a fun lead in to a wonderful evening out with friends. No registration is required.
Dates: Fridays & Saturdays @ 5
Fashion Design: $60/class + materials. Students learn the basics of design and sewing techniques, which may be applied to either street-ware, formal-ware, or costuming. The unit of classes runs 4 weeks, one class per week, with extra weeks available upon request. Topics of study include designing for the four basic body types, weighted cloth for individual builds, color analysis, ethnic and fusion fashions, and tips for stage costuming. Register 1 week in advance. Classes run 90 minutes.

Bisque Project: Fee based on project, rotated monthly.
Students are presented with materials to create a clay piece; including bisque, glaze, metals, etc…depending on project. All materials and services are included in class price, including specialty glazes.
Upcoming project: February - “Flowing Elements Bowl and Platter” - $50 all materials included.
